Chicken Wings

Who doesn’t love a good chicken wing? This is an asian style marinade mixture that I use quite often. You can adjust the honey as you like or substitute it with some minced chilli or chilli sauce of your choice.

Ingredients
1kg chicken wings or drumettes
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey

Method
In a large bowl place the chicken and sauces.
Mix well so that all of the chicken pieces are well covered with the marinade mixture.
Cover and leave in the fridge for at least an hour, if not over night.
Pre heat your oven to 180 degrees
Place chicken in a baking tray that has been sprayed with some oil.
Roast, flipping half way until the chicken is cooked and the sauce has caramelised (I’m a fan of a few crispy burnt bits!)
Allow to cool slightly in tray so the marinate thickens a little more.
Mix up while in the tray and serve with all of the juices.

This same marinade can be used for beef skewers also!
