Anyone who has grown up around our household has most likely indulged in Delene’s mini pizzas at some random hour. There is nothing better than some home made pizza dough, sitting anxiously watching through the top waiting for it to rise up into pizza perfection!

Ingredients
3 cups plain flour
1 packet dry yeast
1 teaspoon caster sugar
2 tablespoons oil
1 – 1 1/2 cups warm water
1 teaspoon salt
Method
Sift the flour and salt into a large mixing bowl.
Add in the oil.
In a seperate bowl or jug, combine together the warm water, yeast and sugar well.
Now add the wet mix to the flour, mixing to form a firm dough [add more warm water if needed]
Tip out onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes.
Place the dough into a large oiled bowl and cover with glad wrap.
Leave this in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
Seperate into balls for individual pizzas or roll out and cut into mini pizzas using an egg ring or as my mother uses, a wide rim glass that has been floured.
Top with your choice of toppings and cook in an oven until the base has turned golden.
