The best combination for soft delicious mozzarella next to tomatoes!
Figs have such a short season, this is one fabulous way to truly enjoy them

Ingredients
1-2 balls of fresh mozzarella
2 – 3 ripe figs
Fresh basil
Balsamic glaze
Salt
Method
Wash gently the figs or if you are not a skin person you can carefully peel the skin off the figs.
Slice in half
Drain and slice the mozzarella into 1cm thick slices
Wash a hand full of the larger basil leaves and get ready to assemble your beautiful plate.
Place down a fig followed by a slice of mozzarella and a basil leaf and repeat until all figs have been used.
Lightly salt and top with a drizzle of balsamic glaze to finish and enjoy every sweet mouthfull!
