Quick Mix Cake

A recipe that has been passed down 3 generations! The quickest, easiest, all in one bowl cake that you can change up with whatever fruit you have at home! Bake in a traditional cake tin or double the recipe for a tray sheet cake! Works well for cup cakes also, just reduce the cooking time as they cook much faster.

Ingredients
2 cups self raising flour
1 cup caster sugar
1 cup milk or your choice
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
Fruit

Method
Mix all ingredients together in a bow for 5 minutes.
Pour mixture into a lined or greased tin.
Add what you wish to the top and as much or as little
examples include; banana, apple, pears, pineapple, fresh berries, tinned fruit that has been drained well etc
Bake at 180 degrees for 30minutes or until brown.
Dust with icing sugar to serve.
