Salami Sauce

A heap of leftover salami and hunger on a cold night created this spicy masterpiece. Now head to your local Italian deli or sneak into your Italian neighbours garage and get some delicious salami

Ingredients
1/2 dried salami
1/2 cup green olives
2 tablespoons olive oli
1 jar Mutti pomodoro sauce
Chilli (fresh, dried or preserved)
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Fresh Basil
Salt

Method
In a deep pan, add the oil and fry off the garlic until it becomes fragrant.
Slice the salami into strips and add to the garlic as well as the olives also sliced lengthways.
Fry until the garlic starts to slightly brown and the fat partly renders out of the salami.
Add the sauce, chilli (to personal taste) basil and a pinch of salt to the pan along with half the bottle refilled with water.
At this stage I like to add my almost cooked pasta and allow it to reduce down.
