Inspired by the movie White Christmas, in order to know what food to serve the question is asked “what do you wish to dream about” – ham and cheese on rye for a blonde or turkey for a brunet! Being a brunet myself and always having some turkey left over from Christmas day, this is the perfect sandwich to throw together!
Ingredients
Fresh white bread
Mango chutney
Roasted capsicum [Recipe here]
Roast turkey [sliced as thick as you wish]
Rocket or Spinach
Gouda cheese
Method
The fresher the bread for this the better!
Place out your bread and on one half spread a good helping of mango chutney.
Next add your roast capsicum in strips
Top with a good serving of turkey, hot or cold
Add a big handful of either rocket or spinach
Finally, finish with some gouda cheese slices. ENJOY!
This is really nice lightly toasted also with the hot turkey and melted cheese!
